Al-Nassr fans support Ronaldo in his protest!

Despite the sporting impact of his absence on Al-Nassr, the Saudi club’s fans are supporting the Portuguese star in his stance against the Saudi Investment Fund’s policies regarding the recent winter transfer window.

Ronaldo missed Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Ittihad on Friday evening, his second match boycott after the previous Riyadh game, in protest against the Fund’s support for Al-Hilal and the lack of winter signings for Al-Nassr and even Al-Ahli.

During the match, held at Al-Awwal Park, as soon as the seventh minute arrived, Al-Nassr fans raised yellow cards bearing the number 7, chanting Cristiano Ronaldo’s name.

This is also the second time Al-Nassr fans have supported Ronaldo’s position, having done the same against Al-Riyadh last week. The fans feel there is a clear bias towards Al-Hilal that is undermining the competition for the league title this season.

Al-Nasr won 2-0 against Al-Ittihad in the absence of Ronaldo, thus continuing its pursuit of the leader Al-Hilal, with only one point separating them, while Al-Ahli comes in third place, 3 points behind the Blue Wave and 2 points behind the Knight of Najd.
