Al-Hilal’s rewards in the 2025 Club World Cup (so far)

Al-Hilal reached the quarter-finals of the 2025 Club World Cup after defeating Manchester City in the tournament’s biggest upset, 4-3 at the Camping World Stadium in the Round of 16.

Al-Hilal is undoubtedly seeking global recognition and sporting glory, but at the same time, it hopes to take advantage of the huge FIFA rewards, which are awarded based on a win and progress through the tournament to the final.

Al-Hilal was the fifth Arab club to participate in this edition of the Club World Cup, alongside Al-Ain of the UAE, Al-Ahly of Egypt, Wydad Casablanca of Morocco, and Espérance Sportive de Tunis of Tunisia. However, the Saudi club was the only one to advance from the group stage.

Lodi: We took a lot of money and we also defeated Manchester City!

Al Hilal’s 2025 Club World Cup Bonus So Far

It can be said that Al Hilal has earned a legendary sum so far from reaching the quarterfinals of the 2025 Club World Cup.

Al Hilal drew its first match against Real Madrid and its second against Salzburg, then defeated Pachuca, earning only $4 million from the group stage (one million for a draw and two million for a win).

With qualification to the Round of 16, Al Hilal received a bonus of $7.5 million, to which an additional $13 million was added after overcoming Manchester City and reaching the quarterfinals.

It should be noted that the Al-Zaeem’s participation bonus in the tournament was originally $9.5 million, bringing Al Hilal’s total bonus in the 2025 Club World Cup to €34 million, a portion of which (the amount has not been determined) will be deducted for the benefit of the US Internal Revenue Service.

Al-Hilal’s bonus could exceed all the bonuses of all Arab teams

Al-Ahly earned $11.5 million after two draws (in addition to the participation bonus), the same amount earned by Al-Ain and Espérance Sportive de Tunis, while Wydad Casablanca earned only $9.5 million.

The total bonuses for the Arab quartet are $44 million (excluding taxes), and Al-Hilal will easily have the opportunity to surpass this figure if they defeat Fluminense in the quarterfinals.

The tournament’s bonuses stipulate that the quarterfinalists will receive €21 million, which would bring Al-Hilal’s total bonus to $55 million.

Al-Hilal’s Road to the Club World Cup Final

Al-Hilal will face Fluminense in a very difficult quarterfinal match. If they advance to the semifinals, they will await the winner of the Chelsea-Palmeiras match.

Al Hilal’s success in reaching the final, and facing a team in the same league as Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Borussia Dortmund, means they have the opportunity to earn an additional $40 million if they win the title, or $21 million if they finish runner-up.
