Al-Hilal Plans Legendary Deal After Osimhen Deal Fails

Al-Hilal’s management is still seeking to sign a world-class striker, and now they are turning their attention to one of the most important strikers in the English Premier League in a deal that would be legendary by all standards.

Victor Osimhen was Al-Hilal’s primary target this summer, but the Nigerian international rejected three offers from the Saudi club and decided to join Galatasaray, which is close to agreeing on all the details of the deal with Napoli.

According to renowned journalist Di Marzio, Al-Hilal is currently considering signing Newcastle United star Alexander Isak, the second-highest scorer in the Premier League last season.

The Swedish international’s position on leaving Europe and joining Saudi Arabia is unknown, although the temptations in this regard would be significant, given Al-Hilal’s willingness to offer him an annual salary of up to €40 million, more than double what he would receive at any other European club.

The crisis lies in the fact that Newcastle’s management has just rejected a huge £120 million bid from Liverpool for Isak, leaving Al Hilal to need an offer of at least £150 million to convince the Magpies.

However, negotiations may not be complicated in this regard, given that Newcastle’s owners (the Saudi Investment Fund) also own Al Hilal. Therefore, if the player accepts the offer, an agreement could be reached on his sale price.

It’s worth noting that Isak has recently received numerous offers from major European clubs. In addition to Liverpool, Arsenal dreamed of signing the 26-year-old, while Barcelona reportedly viewed him as a successor to Robert Lewandowski. He was also linked with Real Madrid for a time.
