Journalist Sacha Tavolieri revealed via Sky Sport Switzerland that Al Hilal has inquired about the player’s situation and potential transfer terms, amid flexibility from the Turkish club to discuss his departure.

According to the report, Galatasaray is willing to sell Osimhen for €65 million, but completing the deal remains conditional on convincing the Nigerian striker to move to the Saudi Pro League.

This move by Al Hilal reopens a file that didn’t close as the club had previously hoped, after Osimhen resisted massive financial temptations and chose to remain in Istanbul, before transitioning from a loaned player to the most expensive signing in Turkish football history.

Tavolieri directly linked this new attempt to Karim Benzema’s future, explaining that Al Hilal is working in parallel on the French striker’s departure to free up a squad registration spot and make room for Osimhen’s arrival.

However, Benzema’s exit remains complicated. He has refused a move to a newly promoted club and demanded his full financial dues for the final year of his contract, which runs until the summer of 2027, before freely choosing his next destination.

Benzema has played 13 matches for Al Hilal, scoring 9 goals and providing 5 assists. This makes the club’s plan look more like a complete attacking overhaul, starting with resolving the Frenchman’s future before attempting to secure Osimhen’s approval.
