Al Hilal and Al Ain match was postponed and its new date revealed

Arab media reported that the match between Al Hilal and Al Ain in the first leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-finals has been postponed.

The two teams were scheduled to meet at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium on Tuesday, but bad weather conditions caused an urgent decision by the AFC to postpone the upcoming match.

The UAE is suffering from a strong depression that caused heavy rain to fall on the city of Al Ain and Abu Dhabi in the past hours, hindering the holding of the match.

According to the reports, the postponement is expected to extend for only 24 hours, meaning that the new date for the confrontation will be on Wednesday at the same time, 7 p.m. Mecca time.

The AFC is expected to announce the decision after its emergency meeting, which will be held in the next few hours.

It is worth noting that postponing the match will mean postponing another match for Al-Hilal, which is the Al-Ahly match scheduled for Friday, given the limited time for the “Blue Wave” to prepare for the upcoming El Clásico.
