Tunisian media reported that Mohamed Ben Romdhane has made his final decision regarding the offer presented to him by Al-Ahly of Egypt.
The “Red Devils” have been in intensive negotiations with Ben Ramadan and his team Ferencvaros of Hungary over the past month for the Tunisian star to join Marcel Koller’s squad.
In recent days, news has emerged that the player prefers to continue in Europe on the one hand, and on the other hand, he was not satisfied with the financial offer presented by Al-Ahly.
In the past hours, Al-Ahly raised its offer to Ben Romdhane, and according to the Tunisian website “Nisma Sport”, the new offer was accepted by the player and he decided to move to the Cairo club.
Egyptian media had indicated that Al-Ahly is very close to reaching an agreement with Ferencvaros on the Ben Romdhane deal for 2.7 million euros, or about 150 million Egyptian pounds.
Ben Romdhane will be Al-Ahly’s third summer deal, after the Red Castle contracted with Qatari Youssef Ayman, Al-Duhail defender, and Moroccan Yahya Attiat Allah, Sochi defender.
