After Frimpong and Wirtz, Liverpool is close to a third signing

Milos Kerkez has agreed to a move to Liverpool, and negotiations are in advanced stages to finalize the transfer of the Bournemouth star to Anfield.

This was confirmed by journalist Fabrizio Romano, who indicated that the player is practically on the verge of joining Liverpool, making him the third signing of the summer.

Jérémy Frimpong is expected to become Liverpool’s first new signing of the summer transfer window. The right-back has arrived in England to sign his new contract and will be officially announced as a replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Currently, sporting director Richard Hughes is working on signing Kerkez, as well as Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz.

Romano said that an agreement between Liverpool and Kerkez is already in place, and the remaining agreement is between the Reds and Bournemouth management.

Hughes may be “busy” working on Wirtz’s negotiations, but he is also “in constant contact” with Bournemouth to try to complete the deal as soon as possible.

Kirkis will be the new backup at left-back after the decline in performances of Robertson and Tsimikas, with the latter expected to leave in the current transfer window.
