Although Real Madrid led 2-0 in the first 15 minutes thanks to Kylian Mbappé, Barça managed to come back and score four goals before halftime, a first in El Clásico history.
Real Madrid came back and scored a goal through Mbappé in the 70th minute. Los Blancos then missed several clear scoring opportunities in the final ten minutes, ending coach Carlo Ancelotti’s hopes of winning one last title before leaving Real Madrid.

With Barcelona’s victory, the gap between them and Real Madrid widened to seven points, with Barça now on 82 points compared to Los Blancos’ 75.
With only three matches remaining, Barcelona needs just one more win to officially secure the title.

Barcelona will visit Espanyol at the latter’s stadium next Thursday, followed by a home match against Villarreal on Sunday, with the final match at San Mamés on Sunday, May 25.
