After a long wait, Grealish completes his move to an English giant

Jack Grealish has finalized an agreement with his new club, finally leaving Manchester City after a long period of searching for a new destination.

The England international has been completely out of Pep Guardiola’s plans in recent months, with the manager even ruling him out of the Club World Cup and clearly informing him of the need to find another club.

The 29-year-old’s high salary was the biggest obstacle to his transfer, but finally, 20 days before the end of the summer transfer window, the crisis has ended.

According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Grealish will move to Everton on a one-year loan.

It has not been revealed whether Everton will cover Grealish’s entire salary or whether City will pay part of it. However, an agreement has already been reached between the two clubs, and the player will undergo a medical within hours to officially announce the deal.

Grealish will be David Moyes’ sixth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Mark Taraveras, Adam Unzue, Carlos Alcaraz, Kiernan Dewsbury, and Hal Nethereno Barry, for a total of more than €80 million.
