Abdallah El Said’s future with Zamalek has entered a crucial phase after the player officially moved to end his association with the club, though a final decision regarding his departure has not yet been issued.
These developments come at a sensitive time within the White Castle, coinciding with preparations for the new season and the continuation of several financial and administrative matters that the management is attempting to resolve.
Abdel Hadi Mohamed, Abdallah El Said’s agent, stated that they have submitted a request for the mutual termination of the player’s contract with Zamalek. He confirmed that his lawyer is in contact with club officials to reach a final agreement that satisfies both parties.
On the other hand, a source within Zamalek denied that an agreement has been reached, explaining that the request has not yet been executed. The management is currently reviewing certain financial and administrative aspects before making a decision, with the aim of safeguarding the club’s rights.
El Said joined Zamalek from Pyramids in January 2024 for approximately 15 million EGP. He later renewed his contract in July 2025 for two seasons, extending his stay until the summer of 2027.
As of mid-May, the player had made 72 appearances in a Zamalek shirt, scoring 15 goals and providing 9 assists. He also helped the team win the CAF Super Cup, the Egypt Cup, and the Egyptian Premier League.
Zamalek’s management is currently facing a financial crisis that has affected players’ dues and resulted in accumulated debts to former clubs, players, and coaches. This situation led to several transfer bans, with the number of legal cases reaching 18 last season, before the club took action to settle a significant portion of them.
