A stunning goal from a direct corner kick in the Bournemouth-Nottingham Forest match

The match between Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest in the ninth round of the English Premier League witnessed an absolutely stunning goal from a direct corner kick in the match held at the Vitality Stadium.

This was manager Sean Dyche’s first match with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, having successfully defeated Porto in the Europa League hours after succeeding Ange Postecoglou at the City Ground.

If things didn’t go as Dyche had hoped in the Premier League, in the 24th minute, the home side, Nottingham Forest, were stunned by a stunning goal from a direct corner kick by English player Marcus Tavernier.

Tavernier’s celebration was perhaps most telling of the goal, as he gestured as if he were hitting a golf ball with utmost precision and skill towards the goal, which is precisely what happened with the corner kick and the excellent cross, which the goalkeeper simply followed in vain.

We leave you with the historic goal…
