Racing Santander has submitted an official offer to Al Ahly to sign their young star, Bilal Attia, immediately, without waiting until next summer.
The 18-year-old is considered one of the most promising Egyptian talents in recent times. He recently spent time on trial with Hannover, following a similar trial last summer with Stuttgart.
According to Egyptian media reports, Racing wants to sign Bilal on loan until the end of the season. He would join the under-19 team immediately and would not play for the first team or reserves until the transfer window closes.
Racing’s plan is for Bilal Attia to participate regularly in team training. If they return to La Liga next season, he will be registered with the club and eligible to play in major matches immediately.
Racing Club offered Al Ahly the opportunity to sign Bilal Attia on loan for free until the end of the season, an offer Al Ahly accepted. However, the current disagreement revolves around the purchase option next summer, as the Egyptian club aims to include terms similar to those in Hamza Abdel Karim’s loan deal to Barcelona.
Al Ahly initially set a purchase price of €1.5 million, with several variables that could increase this amount, to approve Bilal Attia’s move to Racing. It’s worth noting that Hannover is also showing strong interest in signing the player after his successful trial period and is expected to submit another official offer in the coming hours.
