A player bullies a famous German star in the Europa League… and calls for a severe punishment

The Europa League match between Stuttgart and Go Ahead Eagles witnessed a very unfortunate incident involving Stuttgart’s star player, Angelo Stieler.

Stuttgart secured a resounding 4-0 victory in the match, which took place at the Dutch club’s stadium as part of the fifth round of the group stage.

During the match, Go Ahead Eagles player Viktor Edvardsen got into a fight with Stieler, during which he bullied him and mocked the shape of his nose.

Stieler suffered an accident in his childhood that required several surgeries on his nose, making any discussion of the matter completely unacceptable.

The referee only issued Edvardsen a yellow card for the incident, but the footage went viral on social media, and the Dutch player faced a barrage of criticism.

One of those who criticized Edvardsen was Dutch football legend Wesley Sneijder, who said what happened was “horrible” and that the player and his club should apologize.

UEFA may intervene in the crisis and impose a harsh penalty on Edvardsen for bullying.

It’s worth noting that Stieler has been one of the most prominent German footballers of the last two years, and his name has been linked to several major clubs, such as Real Madrid and Manchester United, since last summer.
