A major blow for Real Madrid: Mbappé may miss the City match!

The participation of French star Kylian Mbappé in Real Madrid’s crucial Champions League match against Manchester City, scheduled for Wednesday, is now in serious doubt after he missed the team’s morning training session on Tuesday.

The French star did not join his teammates on the pitch at Real Madrid’s Valdebebas training ground on Tuesday morning. Mbappé thus joins a list of eight first-team players who are expected to miss the highly anticipated clash with Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The 25-year-old is suffering from a muscle problem and will undergo medical tests later to determine his availability for the upcoming match.

Mbappé had previously suffered a broken finger during the recent match against Celta Vigo, but it did not prevent him from finishing the game. However, he sustained this injury in the final moments, according to the newspaper AS.

Besides Mbappé, Éder Militão, Dean Hoesen, David Alaba, Dani Carvajal, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ferland Mendy, and Eduardo Camavinga will also be unavailable due to various injuries.

It’s worth noting that Mbappé has been Real Madrid’s most important player this season, scoring 16 goals in all competitions, nine of which were in the Champions League.
