The Brazilian network “All Esporte” claimed that Barcelona wants to sign Rodrygo Goes from its eternal rival, and has already informed intermediaries of its intention to move forward with this historic deal.
So far, according to the source, the two parties have not entered into precise negotiating details, and the player has neither accepted nor rejected the idea of joining Barcelona. What happened was merely talks between Barça officials and the player’s agents.
Logically, the deal does not seem likely to materialize. On the one hand, Barcelona is struggling financially and has just completed the Marcus Rashford deal, so it no longer needs a new winger.
