A Big Dilemma: Barcelona Unable to Register 5 Players!

With just two weeks to go before the start of the new season in Spain, Barcelona finds itself in a real dilemma, as the Catalan club’s management is unable to register five players due to Financial Fair Play regulations.

It was expected that Barça’s management would struggle to register the duo Juan Garcia and Marcus Rashford, but Sport newspaper confirmed that the situation is broader than that and does not look promising so far.

Aside from Garcia and Rashford, Barcelona does not have enough room to register new signing Ronnie Bardez. It also needs to find a solution to register Wojciech Szczesny and, finally, Gerard Martin.

As for Bardez, there is an alternative plan: registering him in the reserve team and using him with the first team, given that he is 19 years old. This would be a temporary solution to the crisis throughout the next season.

Perhaps Barcelona’s greatest concern at the moment is the goalkeeper position. Garcia’s situation is complicated, and the club must register him under a different contract due to his new contract. With Ter Stegen injured, Iñaki Peña will be the only option available until a solution is found.

Despite everything, Joan Laporta’s administration is hopeful that the registration crisis will soon end and that the club will return to a 1-1 basis before the first La Liga match against Mallorca, scheduled for August 16.
