Medical examinations revealed that the English defender suffered a muscle strain in the hamstrings of his left thigh, with his condition set to be re-evaluated over the coming days.
Stones felt the injury following a sprint and was forced off in the 62nd minute of Inter’s 5-3 victory—which marked his first start for the Italian club.
