According to an exclusive report by TEAMtalk, Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have held preliminary talks with the representatives of Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane. The Riyadh-based club is actively searching for a new marquee center-forward as they look to restructure their attack and potentially part ways with Karim Benzema.
The report highlights that Charlie Kane—brother and lead agent for the England captain—met over the weekend with Simon Francis, Al-Hilal’s Sporting Director of Football. Francis, currently in England evaluating high-profile attacking targets, has placed Kane at the very top of Al-Hilal’s summer wish list.
While Al-Hilal presented an ambitious project alongside one of the lucrative financial offers in Saudi football history, sources indicate a deal remains difficult to execute at this stage.
These transfer maneuvers form part of a broader attacking overhaul for Al-Hilal. Following the arrival of Crysencio Summerville, the club intends to sign another winger and a top-tier striker. Wingers Savinho and Pedro Neto are also under consideration, while Karim Benzema’s departure looms and Darwin Núñez edges closer to a loan move to Trabzonspor.
Meanwhile, German reports suggest Bayern Munich are preparing to offer Harry Kane a three-year contract extension through June 2029. In response, Al-Hilal is exploring alternative elite options, including Victor Osimhen and Ollie Watkins—with Watkins reportedly close to agreeing on a massive deal should he decide to move to the Middle East.
Harry Kane enjoyed a phenomenal season with Bayern Munich, registering 61 goals and 7 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions, including 36 Bundesliga goals. Since joining the Bavarian club, the English forward has compiled a staggering tally of 146 goals in 147 matches.
