The Egyptian international is currently enjoying his honeymoon with his wife in Italy before making his anticipated return to City to kick off preparations for the upcoming campaign.

Marmoush tied the knot in early June before joining the Egypt national team camp in the United States with prior permission. The official wedding celebration took place following the conclusion of the Pharaohs’ World Cup run.

This extended break comes after an exhausting season for the 27-year-old forward, which culminated in representing Egypt through to the World Cup Round of 16 before a hard-fought 3-2 defeat against Argentina.

Manchester City opted to grant varied rest periods to several players who participated in the World Cup knockout stages, ensuring they regain full physical and mental fitness ahead of the new season.

Consequently, Marmoush’s absence carries no indication of him falling out of favor or nearing an Etihad exit, despite transfer rumors surrounding his future over recent months.

The Egyptian forward is expected to link up with Pep Guardiola’s squad for training immediately following his honeymoon to participate in the final phase of pre-season preparations.

During their Asia tour, Manchester City are scheduled to play three fixtures: facing Inter Milan in Hong Kong, taking on the K League All-Stars in Seoul, and wrapping up the camp against Atlético Madrid.
