Serie A side Lazio have officially announced the permanent signing of young midfielder Bruno Galassi from La Liga giants Real Madrid, strengthening their squad during the summer transfer window.
Lazio confirmed in an official statement that they have secured the sporting rights of the 19-year-old talent. Real Madrid will retain a percentage of any future resale value, though the club did not disclose the contract length or the financial details of the deal.
Galassi primarily operates as a midfielder but can also slot into central defense. His versatility provides manager Gennaro Gattuso with valuable tactical depth across multiple positions ahead of the new season.
Born in 2007, the player joined Real Madrid’s youth academy in 2023 after previous development stints at Rayo Vallecano and Getafe. He recently featured for Los Blancos’ youth ranks and made several appearances for Real Madrid ‘C’.
The teenager was part of the squad that captured both the Copa de Campeones and the UEFA Youth League last season, before opting to end his spell in Spain and move to Italian football in search of first-team opportunities.
Galassi’s move aligns with Lazio’s ongoing sporting strategy to recruit high-potential youngsters who can be developed for long-term success. Conversely, Real Madrid continues their trend of selling academy graduates while retaining sell-on clauses to secure future financial windfalls.
