The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has officially put an end to rumors regarding the future of the national team’s coaching staff following the Atlas Lions’ campaign in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
To resolve this highly debated matter, the FRMF Board of Directors held an important official meeting on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at the federation’s headquarters in Rabat. The meeting was chaired by FRMF President Fouzi Lekjaa, alongside Abdeslam Belkchour, President of the National National Professional Football League (LNFP).
During the meeting, the Moroccan Federation made its final decision, officially renewing its trust in head coach Mohamed Ouahbi to continue leading the Atlas Lions until the end of his contract in 2030.
