With the transfer fee expected to exceed €100 million, the North London club is exploring creative solutions. This includes offering Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres as part of the deal to lower the financial cost and tempt Atletico.

While Atletico Madrid’s board admires Gyokeres, this swap proposal does not guarantee Arsenal the lead in the transfer race, especially with Barcelona’s strong interest and Alvarez’s desire to play at the Camp Nou.
Gyokeres joined Arsenal last summer from Sporting CP in a high-profile transfer. Despite an inconsistent start, the Swedish forward finished the season strongly, scoring 21 goals in all competitions, including 14 in the Premier League.
