Real Madrid stars have broken the historic World Cup goalscoring record at the 2026 tournament, surpassing Bayern Munich and PSG. Read the full stats here.
Real Madrid has written its name into the World Cup history books following a spectacular display from the club’s superstars, whose incredible goalscoring contributions and assists have taken the tournament by storm.
Throughout World Cup history, Hungary’s Honvéd (1954), Bayern Munich (2014), and Paris Saint-Germain (2022) jointly held the record for the most goals scored by a single club’s players in a single tournament, with 18 goals each.
Real Madrid has shattered that record at the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico, with their players contributing a stunning 19 goals so far. Credit for this historic milestone goes primarily to the star trio of Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Júnior.
Mbappé remains the tournament’s top scorer with 8 goals. Meanwhile, Bellingham reached 6 goals following his crucial brace against Norway on Sunday morning. Vinícius Júnior also chipped in with 4 goals for Brazil before their unexpected Round of 16 exit against Erling Haaland’s Norway.
Completing the tally is Arda Güler, who scored a single goal for Turkey against the USA in their final group stage match, bringing the grand total for Real Madrid stars to 19 goals.
With the semifinals ahead, there is still plenty of room to extend this historic record. Both Bellingham and Mbappé will feature once again, and one or both could reach the final scheduled for next Sunday.
Despite Real Madrid’s goalscoring milestone, it is their rivals Barcelona who dominate the semifinal representation, leading all clubs with 10 players currently remaining in the final four.
