According to Spanish outlet Marca, Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez has emerged as Real Madrid’s number one priority to reinforce their midfield in the current summer transfer window, following an urgent request from new manager Jose Mourinho.
Los Blancos are reportedly looking to part ways with either Eduardo Camavinga or Aurelien Tchouameni, alongside the expected departure of Dani Ceballos. Consequently, the reigning European giants are in dire need of a new world-class midfielder.
In recent hours, Mourinho made it clear to Florentino Perez’s board that the Argentine international takes priority over all other names on the table. As a result, Real Madrid has decided to move forward with a bid to bring the former Benfica star to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid’s hierarchy is fully aware that negotiating with Chelsea will be far from easy. Therefore, they have lined up two backup options: West Ham’s Mattheus Fernandes and Lille’s 18-year-old prodigy Ayyoub Bouaddi.
