Pyramids FC secured the 2026 Egypt Cup title following a 2-1 victory against ZED FC in the final held at the Cairo International Stadium.

This final marked Pyramids’ third consecutive appearance in the championship match. Under the guidance of manager Krunoslav Jurčić, the “Blue Squad” took the lead in the 45th minute through a Karim Hafez penalty. The advantage was doubled in the 57th minute by striker Fiston Mayele.
The match took a tense turn in the 80th minute when Pyramids’ Mostafa Ziko was sent off. Raafat Khalil managed to pull one back for ZED FC in the 92nd minute, but Mohamed Shawky’s men couldn’t find the equalizer before the final whistle.
