The Moroccan international played in the first leg on Tuesday, but suffered an injury in the final minutes. Coach Luis Enrique was unable to substitute him due to having already used all his substitutions.

Hakimi underwent medical tests on Wednesday, and initial indications suggest he is suffering from either a severe muscle strain or a muscle tear, casting serious doubt on his participation in the match at the Allianz Arena.

The 28-year-old is expected to undergo further medical tests in the coming hours to determine the extent of the injury and the expected length of his absence.

Meanwhile, Nuno Mendes and Xavi Krabartsigilia also underwent medical examinations after complaining of some discomfort following the match. However, their situation differs from Hakimi’s, as it was confirmed that they are not suffering from any physical problems and will be available for the second leg.

The first leg at the Parc des Princes ended in a thrilling 5-4 victory for PSG, the highest-scoring Champions League semi-final in history.
