The Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, USA, hosted the biggest and most popular event in the world of professional wrestling last Sunday.

One of the biggest surprises of WrestleMania was Lesnar’s defeat at the hands of young wrestler Upah Femi, after which the 48-year-old announced his retirement in a very emotional and unexpected manner.

According to Lesnar himself, Ronaldo called him just 15 minutes after the end of his match, congratulating him on his incredible career and expressing his sadness at his retirement decision. At the same time, Ronaldo showed great respect for one of the most important wrestlers in WWE history.

Lesnar added, “I think greats appreciate each other in this way.”

Lesnar made his WWE debut in 2002, alongside John Cena, with whom he had a series of memorable rivalries over the years. He was also the UFC Heavyweight Champion and boasts an impressive record in the sport.

The world of professional wrestling has seen the passing of several legends in recent years, most notably John Cena, who retired in December 2025 after a remarkable career.
