Marcus Rashford is no longer opposed to a return to Manchester United, given the uncertainty surrounding his future at Barcelona. The Englishman has even begun preparing for the move should it become necessary.
It is increasingly unlikely that he will remain permanently at the Catalan club, as Barcelona prefers a second loan deal, something the English club is currently unwilling to do.
According to BBC Sport, Rashford has become increasingly open to a return to Manchester United this summer, although his first choice remains a permanent move to Camp Nou.
Rashford’s stance comes amid other reports indicating his dissatisfaction with his situation at Barcelona. He is frustrated by the fading prospect of a permanent transfer, which has led him to consider other options, including a return to Manchester United.
Barcelona’s management remains undecided about whether Rashford is worth the €30 million fee given the current economic crisis, or if it would be better to pursue other options in the upcoming summer transfer window.
It is worth noting that Rashford, 28, has participated in 43 matches in all competitions since his move to Barcelona, during which he managed to score 12 goals and make 13 assists, and he also managed to return to the England national team after a period of absence.
