German journalist Christian Falk reports that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is a huge admirer of Bayern Munich star Michael Olise and is prepared to make a massive offer next summer to secure the French winger’s services.
Olise delivered an exceptional performance against Real Madrid last Tuesday, contributing to Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Santiago Bernabéu, the home of the Spanish capital club.
Falk says that Pérez was impressed by Olise’s performance and wants him to lead the right flank in Álvaro Arbeloa’s attack, especially since Rodrygo Goes needs a long time to return to action, and Brahim Díaz is likely to leave next summer.
To convince Bayern Munich to part with Olise, Pérez plans to submit an offer between €150 and €165 million, which would make him the most expensive player in Real Madrid’s history.
Real Madrid is not the only club interested in signing Olise. Liverpool is also reportedly on his radar and is prepared to pay €170 million for the 23-year-old to succeed Mohamed Salah at Anfield.
However, the French international’s contract with Bayern Munich runs until the summer of 2028, and the Bavarian club has no intention of letting their star player leave next summer, regardless of the financial offers.
Olise has scored 16 goals and provided 24 assists in all competitions for Bayern Munich this season.
