Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed that Inter Miami has sent its first offer to Casemiro’s agent to explore the possibility of signing the Manchester United star this summer.
The Brazilian international’s contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of the current season, and both parties have agreed not to renew it for another year, prompting the player to begin his search for a new club.
Over the past few days, Inter Miami officials have been in talks with Casemiro, hoping he will join Lionel Messi’s squad, with the 34-year-old reportedly receptive to the move.
Indeed, an offer from Inter Miami is now on Casemiro’s table, awaiting his response before negotiations can resume.
The former Real Madrid star is open to the idea of joining Inter Miami, given the ambitious sporting project there led by Messi, but he prefers to wait and consider all available options before making a decision.
Money will play a significant role in Casemiro’s decision, as he has received several lucrative offers from the Saudi Professional League, and Inter Miami’s offer will need to be presented to him, at least officially.
It is worth noting that Casemiro’s priority is to stay in Europe, at a time when it is said that a number of European clubs are interested in acquiring his services, but things have not progressed beyond interest so far.
