Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has emphasized his complete recovery from his recent injury, stating that he will fight with the Royal Club to win every title this season.
Mbappé was sidelined for over a month due to a knee injury that began last November. He played through the pain until February, when it finally forced him to stop playing for Real Madrid.
The French star told French media, “I went through a lot of frustration, anger, and anxiety at one point. I didn’t know what I was suffering from. Many people offered diagnoses, and until recently, I didn’t have a clear diagnosis.”
He added, “I heard a lot of things, like ‘surgery’ and ‘I won’t be able to play again,’ but all of that was just nonsense.”
He continued, “I didn’t experience this period in the best way, and I wasn’t the happiest player in the world, but I’m happy that all of that is behind me. This isn’t just media talk; it’s all completely over.”
“My knee is fine,” he continued. “There’s been a lot of speculation and inaccurate rumors. I’m fully recovered, and I received a proper diagnosis in Paris.”
Speaking about his upcoming matches with the French national team, he concluded, “I’m preparing for the World Cup by playing every game for my club. It’s very clear to me; I want to play every match for Real Madrid, and talk about conserving energy is just nonsense.”
