Former Liverpool star Stephen Warnock is concerned about the Reds’ form after their shock 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday in the Premier League.
This was Liverpool’s tenth league defeat of the season, coming just days after their emphatic win over Galatasaray that secured their place in the Champions League quarter-finals.
Liverpool are set to face Paris Saint-Germain in the quarter-finals, with the first leg at Anfield on April 8 and the return leg at the Parc des Princes on April 14.
“If they play like that in Paris, we’ll lose 10-0,” Warnock said of Liverpool’s current form.
“Liverpool were very poor. Brighton weren’t clinical, but PSG will be. It’s very, very worrying for Liverpool.”
It is worth noting that PSG was the team that eliminated Liverpool from the Champions League last year as well, after defeating them on penalties, but in the round of 16.
