Fede Valverde continued his excellent form for Real Madrid over the past month, scoring a brilliant goal against Elche in Saturday’s La Liga match.
Antonio Rüdiger gave Real Madrid the lead in the 39th minute, and Valverde quickly doubled the advantage in the 44th minute.
The Uruguayan international received the ball on the edge of the penalty area, dribbled past an Elche defender, and then unleashed a superb shot into the back of the net at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Valverde had previously scored a hat-trick in Real Madrid’s last Champions League match against Manchester City.
Across his last eight appearances, Valverde has contributed to nine goals for Real Madrid in all competitions.
He scored against Real Sociedad, provided an assist against Osasuna, scored twice against Benfica, netted the winner against Celta Vigo, and then netted a hat-trick against City and scored today’s goal against Elche.
