Rumors have been circulating in recent hours about Jurgen Klopp’s potential move to Atletico Madrid to replace Diego Simeone next season.
These rumors coincide with reports that Klopp will leave his current position as head of global football at Red Bull and return to coaching soon.
Klopp is reportedly a target for Real Madrid, but recent reports indicate that the German coach has rejected the idea of managing the Spanish giants and prefers Atletico Madrid.
These rumors seem to have displeased Klopp’s agent, who spoke to the media, denying any negotiations with Los Rojiblancos.
“A deal with Atletico Madrid? It’s just stupid rumors!” said Marc Coxier.
Simeone is expected to leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the current season following disagreements with the club’s new owners, and his successor remains unknown.
In any case, Klopp’s agent insists that his client will not coach Atletico, that there are no negotiations and that the German has no intention of returning to coaching.
