Jesus: Ronaldo’s Injury More Serious Than Expected

Al-Nassr coach Jorge Jesus confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo will travel to the Spanish capital, Madrid, for treatment after suffering an injury “more serious than expected.”

The Portuguese star was injured during Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al-Fayha, forcing him to leave the match in the final minutes.

Al-Nassr is preparing for a crucial match against Neom on Saturday in the Saudi Pro League, and Jesus indicated in the pre-match press conference that Ronaldo is unavailable.

“After the tests, it became clear to us that Ronaldo’s injury is more serious than we anticipated,” the Portuguese coach told the media.

He added, “Ronaldo will go to Spain, like all the players who have gone there when they were injured.”

He concluded, “His injury requires specialized treatment in Madrid with his personal physician. We hope he will return quickly and help the team.”

Initially, Ronaldo is expected to miss the upcoming matches against Neom and Al-Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League, with his return anticipated after the international break, specifically on April 3rd for the match against Al-Najma.
