Vitinha Closes the Door on a Real Madrid Move

Paris Saint-Germain star Vitinha has responded to the circulating rumors linking him with a move to Real Madrid next summer.

Spanish media outlets revealed that the Real Madrid management considers Vitinha their dream option to bolster the Merengues’ midfield next season, as a potential successor to Toni Kroos after two years in which Florentino Perez has failed to find a solution.

When asked about Real Madrid’s interest in an interview with Canal+, Vitinha replied, “It would be foolish to leave Paris Saint-Germain. I don’t think that’s the best thing for me.”

He added, “I feel very good here in Paris, and I feel that people appreciate me a lot and that I’ve earned this love.”

He continued, “I love being here at PSG, and so does my family. We have a fantastic group and an amazing coach (Luis Enrique).”

When asked about the possibility of joining the Saudi league, the Portuguese player concluded, “I already earn a very good salary here in Europe, at a big club. Doubling or even tripling that salary wouldn’t make me any happier.”

It’s worth noting that Vitinha’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain runs until the summer of 2028. Therefore, if Real Madrid wants to sign him, they must first convince the French club to part with one of their standout players of the last two years.
