Bayern Munich practically secured the Bundesliga title after a 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in matchday 24.
Dortmund took the lead through Daniel Svensson in the 26th minute, before Harry Kane equalized in the 54th minute and then put Bayern Munich ahead in the 70th minute.
In the 83rd minute, Daniel Svensson scored his second goal of the match, leveling the score for Dortmund.
A disastrous clearance error by Job Bellingham allowed Joshua Kimmich to score Bayern Munich’s third goal in the 87th minute, securing a crucial three points at Signal Iduna Park.
Bayern Munich now have 63 points at the top of the table, while Dortmund remain on 52 points. The gap between the leaders and second place has now widened to 11 points with only 10 matches remaining in the German competition.
It is worth noting that Bayern Munich is still competing for the Champions League and German Cup titles, while Dortmund will now focus its efforts solely on the Bundesliga and securing a European spot after being eliminated from the Champions League and the Cup early.
