Klopp sacks second Red Bull manager in less than a week!

Jürgen Klopp, head of global football at Red Bull, has decided to sack Stéphane Gilli as manager of Paris FC due to poor results.

Paris FC is one of the clubs owned by Red Bull and directly overseen by Klopp, along with Leeds United, RB Leipzig, and Red Bull Salzburg.

The legendary German coach had previously stated that he had no intention of sacking Gilli, who generally enjoyed the full confidence of the management. However, the situation changed in recent weeks.

Paris FC, recently promoted back to Ligue 1, has slipped to 15th place and has failed to win any of its last five league matches.

As a result, Klopp intervened and terminated Gilli’s contract after nearly three years in the French capital, during which he led Paris FC back to Ligue 1.

The dismissal order signed by Klopp is his second managerial sacking this week, following the dismissal of Thomas Lech at Salzburg due to poor results.

Generally speaking, Red Bull’s clubs are not performing at their best this season. RB Leipzig, for example, is currently fifth in the Bundesliga, and Leeds United is battling relegation. It seems Klopp has yet to make a significant impact after a year in charge.
