Paris Saint-Germain is considering a move for Manchester City star Erling Haaland during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Haaland is under a long-term contract with City until the summer of 2034, reportedly including a release clause that would allow him to leave the Etihad Stadium starting in 2027.
In recent months, it has been suggested that Real Madrid might be interested in reuniting Haaland with Kylian Mbappé to create a new Galácticos, while Barcelona has also emerged as a contender for the Norwegian international’s services as a long-term option to bolster their center-forward position.
According to Team Talk, Paris Saint-Germain is the latest club to express interest in signing Haaland and has secretly inquired about the possibility of acquiring him, without revealing the player’s stance on a potential move to the French capital.
Many might link this interest to rumors that Ousmane Dembélé could leave Paris Saint-Germain, but the report confirms that the two are completely separate, and that the French club wants to sign the 24-year-old even if the French star remains at the Parc des Princes.
It is highly likely that Haaland would not welcome a move to the French league at this time, especially since he is happy at Manchester City. Furthermore, if he were to leave the Etihad Stadium, he would prefer a move to Real Madrid or Barcelona to make history there.
