Glasner Trying to Leave Crystal Palace Immediately!

English press reports indicate that Oliver Glasner is trying to leave Crystal Palace immediately and not wait until the end of the current season.

The Austrian manager’s contract with the London club expires at the end of this season, and he previously announced that this would be his last at Selhurst Park.

Glassner has made no secret of his displeasure with how things have unfolded at Crystal Palace during the winter transfer window, and he was nearly sacked due to his comments criticizing the club’s transfer policy.

It seems Glasner remains extremely angry about the situation, and according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, talks are underway between the manager and the Palace management to terminate his contract immediately.

The 52-year-old recently made new statements, saying that he is “not good enough” because he hasn’t been able to find solutions with his team recently.

The Austrian continued, “I’m always realistic, and we’re not at our best right now. Frankly, I understand that and I take full responsibility because I’m responsible for the entire team.”

Glasner led Crystal Palace to their first-ever trophy last season, winning the FA Cup against Manchester City, and also secured the Community Shield against Liverpool at Wembley Stadium earlier this season.

Crystal Palace currently sit 13th in the Premier League table with just 32 points after 35 matches, only eight points above the relegation zone.
