The Egyptian capital, Cairo, hosted the draw for the 2026 CAF Confederation Cup quarter-finals, with a large number of Arab clubs participating.
This edition will see a new champion, as the current title holder, RS Berkane of Morocco, is participating in the CAF Champions League.
There is a strong Arab presence, represented by Zamalek, two-time Confederation Cup champions, as well as Wydad Casablanca of Morocco with their star players Hakim Ziyech and Wissam Ben Yedder, in addition to USM Alger and JS Kabylie of Algeria, and Al Masry of Port Said and Olympique Safi of Morocco.

Al Masry of Port Said will face CR Belouizdad of Algeria in a highly anticipated Arab derby, while Wydad Casablanca will meet their neighbors, Olympique Safi.
For Zamalek, a seemingly manageable task awaits them against Otoho, while USM Alger will face Congolese side Maniema Union.

CAF Confederation Cup 2026 Quarter-Finals Dates
The first leg matches of the Confederation Cup quarter-finals are scheduled for March 15, with the second leg matches to be played on March 22, 2026.

The draw also determined the path to the 2026 CAF Confederation Cup final.
In the semi-finals, the winner of the Al-Masry vs. CR Belouizdad match will face the winner of the Zamalek vs. Otoho match.
On the other side, the winner of the Wydad Casablanca vs. Olympique Safi match awaits the winner of the USM Alger vs. Maniema Union match.
It should be noted that the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup final will be held on May 16.
