Mohamed Salah as Cristiano Ronaldo’s Replacement at Al-Nassr!

Press reports indicate that Al-Nassr has begun preparing for the post-Cristiano Ronaldo era, amid widespread belief that the Portuguese star is playing his final season in the Saudi Professional League.

Tensions have escalated between Ronaldo and the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) in recent days after he objected to the “unfair” distribution of transfer fees between Al-Hilal and the other elite clubs in the league.

Ronaldo has already begun considering leaving Al-Nassr, either immediately and heading to the United States or waiting until after the 2026 World Cup to move to a European club.

According to the Daily Mail, Al-Nassr’s management is planning to sign Mohamed Salah next summer to be the new face of the club after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

It is widely believed that Salah is likely to leave Liverpool next summer, with the English club hoping to recoup some money from his departure rather than lose him for free in the summer of 2027.

Al-Nassr would be prepared to pay whatever it takes to convince Liverpool to sell, and Salah is expected to be open to the move to Saudi Arabia, especially given the potential salary of €100 million per year.

Al-Nasr has identified the option of signing Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes as a backup plan in case they fail to bring Mohamed Salah to English football.
