Ivan Toney seized the top spot in the 2026 Saudi League top scorers’ list after scoring a hat-trick in Al-Ahli’s 4-0 victory over Al-Ettifaq on Wednesday evening.
Before the start of the 20th round of matches, Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo led the Roshan League scoring charts with 16 goals, compared to 15 for the English international.
Within the first ten minutes of the Al-Ahli vs. Al-Ettifaq match, Toney scored two goals, and in the 84th minute, he added a third from the penalty spot. He also provided an assist for Valentin Atangana’s goal.

Thus, Ivan Toney now stands alone at the top of the Roshan League 2026 scoring charts with 18 goals, awaiting Ronaldo’s response in Al-Nassr’s upcoming match against Al-Kholoud on Friday.
Toney’s total goals this season with Al-Ahli have reached 26 after nearly half the season, while he scored 30 goals in the entirety of last season.
The 2020-21 season remains Toney’s most successful, when he scored 33 goals for Brentford in all competitions. He seems poised to break his personal record if he maintains his current form.
In related news, Toney has taken 23 penalties since joining Al Ahly two years ago, converting them all.
