Real Madrid has entered the race to sign Roma’s Nael El Aynaoui after his impressive performances this season with the Giallorossi and at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with Morocco.
The 25-year-old is attracting interest from several clubs, most notably Barcelona, who are closely monitoring the player with a view to securing his services next summer.
According to Sky Sports, Real Madrid were impressed by El Aynaoui’s performances at the AFCON and have already begun exploring the possibility of acquiring him.
In recent days, Real Madrid officials held preliminary talks with the player’s representatives to gauge his interest in a move to the Santiago Bernabéu.
Despite interest from Barcelona and Premier League clubs, El Aynaoui has informed Real Madrid that a move to the Santiago Bernabéu would be his first choice if Florentino Pérez’s administration is genuinely committed to signing him.
Real Madrid’s management has not yet made a final decision regarding the signing of El Aynaoui, preferring to monitor the player for the remainder of the current season before making a final decision.
It is worth noting that the Moroccan international moved from Lens to Roma last summer for €20 million. Since then, he has made 18 appearances for the Giallorossi in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
