Moroccan star close to Premier League move

Youssef En-Nesyri, the Fenerbahçe striker, has received a tempting offer from Everton, and the deal is reportedly in advanced stages. The Moroccan international could soon be on Merseyside.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton have offered to loan En-Nesyri from Fenerbahçe until the end of the season, with an option to buy next summer.

The English club are willing to pay €20 million next June to sign En-Nesyri permanently, who has never played in the Premier League.

The 28-year-old is currently with the Moroccan national team at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and will make his final decision once the tournament concludes. Reports from sources close to him indicate his desire to leave Fenerbahçe this winter.

Everton is not the only club interested in signing En-Nesyri. Arab media outlets have reported that Qatari club Al Sadd has been in intensive talks with his agent in recent days, hoping to persuade him to join the Qatar Stars League during the current transfer window.

En-Nesyri has made 25 appearances for Fenerbahçe this season across all competitions, scoring eight goals and providing one assist.

En-Nesyri has had a distinguished career in Europe, starting with Málaga, continuing at Leganés, and enjoying his best period with Sevilla between 2020 and 2024, before joining Fenerbahçe for €20 million.
