Barcelona coach Hansi Flick continued his perfect record in finals after defeating Real Madrid 3-2 in the 2016 Spanish Super Cup final.
The German coach has never lost a final as a manager, whether with Bayern Munich or now with Barcelona.
With the Bavarian giants, Flick won the German Cup final, the Champions League final, the UEFA Super Cup, and the German Super Cup.
After moving to Barcelona, he won the Copa del Rey final and now the Spanish Super Cup twice.
It’s worth noting that Flick was Joachim Löw’s assistant coach when Germany defeated Argentina in the 2014 World Cup final in Brazil.
In particular, Flick extended his finals dominance to Real Madrid, having triumphed over Los Blancos in three finals in a single year. He also boasts a perfect record of five wins out of six matches against Los Blancos.
It is worth noting that Flick won 4 titles with Barcelona in just one and a half years at Camp Nou, making him one of the most successful coaches in the history of the Catalan club so far.
