Mohamed Salah scored Egypt’s third goal against Ivory Coast in the quarter-final match of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
With a brilliant pass from Emam Ashour, Salah perfectly controlled the ball in front of Yahya Fofana’s goal and slotted it into the net in the 51st minute.
This goal is Salah’s fourth in the 2025 AFCON, putting him level with Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen, both trailing the tournament’s top scorer, Brahim Diaz.
Meanwhile, the 33-year-old’s total goals in the Africa Cup of Nations since 2017 now stand at 11.
Thus, Salah equals Hossam Hassan as Egypt’s second all-time top scorer in the tournament and is just one goal away from the legendary Hassan El-Shazly, who scored 12 goals for the Pharaohs.
Enjoy the Liverpool star’s brilliant touch…
