Italian media reports indicate that Napoli is prepared to evaluate any potential offers from the Saudi Professional League for Belgian star Kevin De Bruyne this January.
The report, published by Sport Mediaset, suggests that Napoli and De Bruyne could part ways during the current winter transfer window, despite him only joining the club last summer.
The newspaper claims that De Bruyne himself is considering leaving Barclays, believing that a move to the Saudi league would offer him a better opportunity to prioritize his recovery away from the pressures of European competitions, aiming for optimal preparation for the 2026 World Cup.
The player is scheduled to return to Naples next week to continue his rehabilitation program under the club’s supervision, awaiting the outcome of any official offers.
The 35-year-old De Bruyne joined Napoli last summer from Manchester City on a free transfer, making just 11 appearances, scoring four goals and providing two assists, before suffering a serious thigh injury. He is expected to return to the pitch again next March.
