The 2025 Globe Soccer Awards Winners: Two Awards for Lamine Yamal

Ousmane Dembélé capped off 2025 with a prestigious award: the Globe Soccer Best Player in the World award. This added to his exceptional year, which also saw him win the Ballon d’Or and FIFA’s The Best award.

Dembélé led Paris Saint-Germain to a historic treble, achieving remarkable scoring statistics with 35 goals and 16 assists in 53 matches across all competitions.

The 2025 Globe Soccer Awards were held in Dubai and included 21 different categories. One of these was Best Young Player, which was won by another PSG star, Désiré Doué. Luis Enrique also won the Best Coach award for the past year.

Overall, two awards went to Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal: Best Striker in the World (the Maradona Award) and Best Young Player in La Liga.

Cristiano Ronaldo won the Best Player in the Middle East award for the second consecutive year, while Luis Campos received the Best Sporting Director award, and Paris Saint-Germain was named Best Club.
