Cristiano Ronaldo failed to add the AFC Champions League title to his list of competitions in which he has scored at least one goal.
The Portuguese star started in Al-Nassr’s match against Al-Zawraa in the final round of the group stage of the second most important competition in Asia.
Al-Nassr achieved a resounding 5-1 victory. Ronaldo played the first half before being substituted at halftime by Mohammed Maran.
While Ronaldo didn’t score against Al-Zawraa, he provided a truly magnificent assist for João Félix’s fourth goal.
Al-Nassr ultimately won 5-1 and qualified as group winners, awaiting their opponent in the Round of 16.
Ronaldo will return to action after a break of more than a month when Al-Nassr faces Al-Akhdoud next Saturday.
